Apple nachos are another healthy treat that you can make with your kiddos! This is a super versatile snack so you can easily mix and match ingredients and it will still be terrific. Your kids will lick the plate clean every time!
Here’s what’s on our plate:
- 2 sliced apples
- peanut butter
- shredded coconut
- chopped almonds
- mini chocolate chips
First, I cut the apples and arrange them on a plate. We use a piping bag to drizzle the peanut butter over the slices and then sprinkle on the shredded coconut, chopped almonds, and mini chocolate chips.
This tastes like dessert! You have peanut butter and chocolate like a Reese’s but then there’s also almonds and coconut, like an Almond Joy. The apples add just the right amount of tartness and each bite has a crispy crunchiness. I could eat these every day!
There’s no wrong way to assemble apple nachos! Depending on what taste you want to achieve, you can try them with chocolate syrup, caramel, yogurt, honey, dried fruit, pecans, granola, and so much more! They’re SO good!
