If you’re searching for a fast, easy-to-make breakfast that your entire family will gobble up, try this bacon, egg, and cheese waffle sandwich! Using Van’s® Power Grains® Waffles, it’s a delicious, nutritious way for me, my husband, and kids to start a busy day!

The first thing that I do is start cooking my turkey bacon and scramble my eggs on a griddle. As those are going, I heat up the waffles. It takes my toaster about 3 minutes to get them exactly the way that I like, just a teeny bit crisp on the outside. Every toaster is a little different so I would recommend doing a couple of short cycles if you’re unsure about how much time your waffles need.

To assemble the sandwich, I start with one waffle on a plate. I break one slice of turkey bacon in half and place both pieces on the waffle. Then I’ll scoop some scrambled eggs onto the bacon and add a sprinkle of cheese. I finish it off by laying the other waffle on top. Let the cheese melt for a minute and it’s ready to eat. A flavorful, hearty breakfast ready to go in less than 10 minutes! You can even prep a big batch and freeze them for later!

Something that’s really special about this particular sandwich is that I use Van’s Power Grains® Waffles. The slightly sweet taste is the ideal complement to the savory filling of my sandwich. These waffles are made from grains like cracked red wheat, steel-cut oats, millet, and brown rice. And with 9-11g of whole grains and 10-12g of protein in every serving, they’re nutrient-rich and fill our tummies all morning long.

Van’s also makes yummy, gluten-free crackers that my daughters and I nibble on throughout the day! With 16g of whole grains, the Perfect 10® Crackers are baked with oats, brown rice, millet, quinoa, and amaranth. They’re seasoned to perfection and are a snack that I can definitely feel good about giving my family!

We picked up all of our Van’s Products from the specialty section of our local grocery store. They offer several gluten-free and organic options for waffles and a variety of convenient snacks so it isn’t hard to find something you love. Shop all of the wholesome products offered by Van’s and rest assured that you’re always making a smart choice!
