My family has been eating Greek Gods® Greek-Style Yogurt for the last few years and it’s almost always in our fridge! We love it in smoothies and parfaits, but a few days ago I was inspired to use it to make very berry frozen yogurt bark!
You can find Greek Gods yogurt in the dairy section of Walmart! It’ll be in the bottom refrigerated well next to all of the other yogurt.
We love eating it because it’s so smooth and versatile. It also doesn’t have that tart taste like other Greek yogurts because it’s naturally sweetened with honey (and no added sugar)!
There is nothing complicated about very berry frozen yogurt bark! All you need is a tub of Greek Gods strawberry yogurt , strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and a little granola. That’s it!
Although I love all of Greek Gods’ flavors, I felt like strawberry yogurt would be best to highlight the berry-ness of my bark.
You’ll first want to line a baking sheet with wax paper so that it’s easier to get your bark out when you’re ready to eat it. Pour the entire tub of yogurt onto the wax paper and use a spatula to spread it into an even layer.
After that, you’ll just place your fruit on the yogurt in any manner or fashion that you desire. If you want to get cute, you can make a fun pattern. I had kids helping me so the fruit just kind of went everywhere. It really doesn’t make a difference, it tastes the same!
Once you’re done arranging your fruit, give it a sprinkle of granola and pop it into the freezer. I checked on my yogurt bark after about an hour and it was already pretty firm, but I gave it another hour to really harden up.
When your yogurt is frozen to your liking, you can slice it into pieces with a knife and start eating it! Don’t worry about having uniform pieces. I cut some smaller squares for my daughters and larger ones for my husband and myself.
It’ll be cold when you pick it up, but the yogurt melts in your mouth once you take a bite! It’s so sweet and creamy, you really feel like you’re eating a treat! We’ve mostly just been snacking on pieces throughout the day, but I also discovered that it tastes amazing in a bowl of hot oatmeal!
Be sure to keep your bark in the freezer if you aren’t ready to eat it so that it stays intact. You can even use the yogurt container to store your frozen yogurt bark in the freezer!
Here are two more variations that I’m excited to try:
- Dessert Frozen Yogurt Bark- honey vanilla yogurt, shredded coconut, almonds, chocolate sandwich cookie pieces, and mini chocolate chips
- Tropical Frozen Yogurt Bark- honey yogurt, pineapples, kiwis, mangoes, and bananas
Don’t those both sound amazing? Tell me in the comments what you would add to your frozen yogurt bark!
Be sure to pick up some Greek Gods yogurt on your next Walmart trip!
You can also use Greek Gods yogurt in my recipes for banana spinach smoothies and frosted strawberry lemonade!
Talk to you soon!
