Between busy schedules and crazy demands from work and school, it gets harder and harder for families to spend quality time together. After a long day of working and momming, you should have a stress-free pizza night to connect with your family! I put together 10 super simple dinner activities that will help you bond while you chow down!

The first thing you need to do is run down to the freezer section of Publix and get some American Flatbread Pizza!

Every layer of this pizza tastes amazing and was crafted with the utmost care. On top, you’ve got the perfect combination of exotic cheeses, toppings, and fresh herbs. Underneath, the flavorful sauce is made with organic veggies, red wine, and olive oil. On the bottom is a robust, organically-grown wheat crust. It’s too good, y’all!

You can immediately start to smell the deliciousness when your pizza hits the oven and my family can hardly wait to dig in! And all of this yumminess takes no more than 8 minutes to bake up!

High-quality ingredients and convenience? Yes, please!

We pair our American Flatbread Pizza with a simple salad. Baby spinach, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers and a drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette is all you need.

Once your pizza is ready, use my fun list of dinner activities for you to engage everyone while you eat. These simple ideas don’t require any special preparation and work great with every age!

1. Have a Picnic

There’s something extra memorable about eating away from the table. You can take your pizza and picnic blanket outside if the weather is nice, but the living room works just as well!

2. I Spy

Play the classic game! Take turns choosing an object in the room, let the other members of your family know what color it is, and wait for them to guess what you’re looking at. So simple, but giggles are always guaranteed with my girls!

3. Build-a-Story

Create a fictional story together! The first person begins with “Once upon a time…” and then you go around the table adding details. It’s really funny with kids because the stories usually take some unexpected twists and turns. You just never know!

4. Meal Plan

I love using dinner time to hear what everyone wants to eat the following week. They usually ask for pizza, but it’s fun getting everyone’s input!

5. Come Tu Comida

That means “eat your food” in Spanish! Choose a new language that you want to learn and use dinner time to practice it with your family. Muy deliciosa!

6. Eat Backwards

Just to be extra silly, eat with your less dominant hand! If you’ve got a fork or a spoon, you guys can laugh at each other as you struggle to feed yourself. Bonus points if you flip your clothes around backward, too!

7. Choose a Book

If you could live in a book, which one would you pick? You can learn a lot about your kids’ interests by hearing what books or characters they can identify with.

8. Listen to Music

Pizza night is the perfect opportunity to introduce new musical genres and styles. Classical, blues, reggae, oldies, country. Whatever you want! It’s okay if you don’t love everything you hear. The point is just to expose your kids to some new sounds and spark a conversation.

9. Coloring Time

Cover your table in butcher paper, grab some crayons, and turn your creativity on! There are no rules, just go for it!

10. Invite a Friend

Get to know your kiddos better by meeting their BFFs for pizza night (and maybe even their family)! If you can’t coordinate schedules, you can also just ask them to tell you about why their favorite pals are so awesome.
