Yay! Back to school is my favorite time of year! So much anticipation as kids get ready to reunite with friends, meet their new teacher, and grow a year smarter.
This post is sponsored by Kleenex, Scott, Cottonelle and Viva but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.
Although there’s tons of excitement, I know that the end of Summer can also be a stressful time for parents. Trying to get back into a routine and making sure that everyone is equipped for school takes a lot of physical and mental energy, not to mention mucho dinero.
Fear not, Mama. I got you covered! Check out these 3 awesome tips for smart, sanity-saving shopping to make sure your kiddos are back to school ready!
1. Shop Online
Let’s face it: You don’t have time to drive all over town, fight the crowds with your impatient children, and wait in lines at an actual store. Just shop online! Amazon has literally everything you need. With just a few clicks, you can find all of your supplies quickly and easily.
If you don’t have Amazon Prime, I’m not really sure what you’re waiting for. Prime shipping is FREE and your packages arrive on your doorstep in just a day or two.
Boom. Look at all that time you just freed up to help your kids with homework! (Or watch TV. Whatever. I won’t judge.)
2. Stock up on Essentials
Now that your kids will be spending most of their time in their classroom, you need to shop for both school and home.
School
See what supplies your teacher has requested for each student to purchase. Sadly, not every family can afford to buy all of the suggested items on the list. If you have a little extra space in your budget, try to buy double or triple of each supply. Your teacher will be so appreciative of your generosity and it will help create a more positive learning environment for all of the kids in the class. It takes a village, right?
You also want to make sure that your kids have plenty of Kleenex in their backpacks. I’m sorry, but kids are dirty and germs spread like wildfire. Having a pack of Kleenex handy is an extra line of defense to keep your kids clean all day long.
See what’s on every teacher’s wish list!
Home
When I think of essentials for your home, I think of things like paper towels, toilet paper, and wipes. These are all basics that you use every single day for cleaning and hygiene. Kleenex, Scott, Cottonelle and Viva products are the absolute best quality and are all sold on Amazon. My girls and I have a current obsession with Kleenex wet wipes and Viva Pop-Ups. They seriously make life so much easier!
You also want to make sure you have lots of lunch bag essentials and afterschool snacks in your kitchen. Fill your pantry and cupboards with plenty of food to last the whole week. Kids are happier and function better when fed lots of yummy, healthy food. Don’t worry, you can order snacks in bulk from Amazon, too!
3. Look for Deals
Raise your hand if you like to save money!
Amazon always has great prices on the things you need. You can save up to $3 right now on Kleenex, Scott, Cottonelle, and Viva back to school essentials. Plus, you get 15% off by using their subscribe and save option. This makes it so easy to stick to your budget while ensuring you never run out of anything on your list.
Happy Back to School!
Did I already said “yay”? Yay! Go to Amazon now and start filling your cart!
And be sure to see what school supplies are on your teacher’s wish list!
Wishing you and your family the best school year ever!

I have been trying to learn how to coupon so once my baby is ready to go to school I will already have a stockpile lol. I am a self-proclaimed Amazon addict lol so I am sure I will be using them for her school needs as well.
Hey Amir! That is so smart. School supplies add up quickly!
I think stocking up and shopping online are my two favorite tips. I always hate braving the crowds during back to school so amazon prime would be my best friend.
