Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Using a large bowl and a mixer on medium speed, cream together the butter and both sugars until smooth.
Mix in the eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt, and oats.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well.
Fold in the butterscotch chips and pecans.
Place tablespoonfuls of dough onto a cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
Cool for a few minutes before eating and store in an airtight container.
