What I Wish I’d Known Sooner About Having a Miscarriage

I know that everyone has already moved on to Halloween, but I want to share one more thing before October ends! Many of you know that this is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month and something that I have been very open about in the past is having a miscarriage. It has had a huge impact on my family and the way I parent my beautiful girls.

I recently became a contributor for Columbia Mom, a local platform that provides mamas with resources and information. It’s a great way to connect with other mommies in my community and I’m so excited to be part of it!

For my very first post on their website, I wrote about a few things that I wish I’d known before having a miscarriage. It’s been over 6 years since my loss so I hope that my personal reflection will be helpful to other women and families with similar experiences.

If you haven’t read it already, be sure to read my full miscarriage story and then head over to Columbia Mom to read What I Wish I’d Known Sooner About Having a Miscarriage.

Have you been impacted by a major loss? Feel free to tell me about it in the comments!

Talk to you soon!
