If you’re anything like me, then you know that the best part of February 14th is the food. Gimme bite-sized, covered in chocolate, or shaped like a heart and I simply cannot resist. Over the years, we’ve tried plenty of quick, love-themed eats and today we’ve narrowed it down to our favorites just for you. Here’s a list of effortless Valentine’s snacks and sweet treats your special people are sure to devour.
Heart Biscuits
These are just canned biscuits that I stretched a bit, shaped with a heart cookie cutter, and baked as directed. I served them with a breakfast scramble (eggs, veggie sausage, cheese, and potatoes), berries, and jam. I believe the reaction I received was “best breakfast ever”!
3-Ingredient Brownies
Using only three simple ingredients, these no-fuss brownies are bursting with chocolate and almond flavors that everyone you know will gobble up!
Popcorn with Valentine’s M&Ms
I always love a little mix of sweet and salty. Pop some corn and drop in pink and red M&Ms for a quick, happy snack!
Heart Fruit Snack Building
Heart fruit snacks and toothpicks are always a good time! Just give your kiddos the supplies and let them create while they snack. Whatever they decide to make, their minds are hard at work, and clean-up is always delicious and fast!
Mini Heart PB&J’s
These are undoubtedly the cutest little PB&Js you’ll ever see! Just assemble your sandwiches as usual and carve out hearts with a small cookie cutter.
Very Berry Frozen Bark
You’ll love this uncomplicated very berry frozen yogurt bark! Just spread a tub of strawberry Greek yogurt on a sheet of wax paper, top with berries and granola, and freeze. When it’s completely frozen, break or cut into pieces, and enjoy every sweet bite.
Two-Ingredient Chocolate Fruit Dip
This chocolate fruit dip is guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth without weighing you down. Just grab some Greek yogurt and chocolate hazelnut spread and you’re good to go!
Cheesecake Dip
Here’s another dip I can’t wait for you to make: cheesecake dip! It’s decadent, flavorful, and perfect when you’re running late and need to impress a crowd.
Strawberry Hearts
Bright red strawberries are delicious by themselves, but you have to try them with one of my dips. Cut the stems off at an angle to give them the appearance of little hearts.
Sun-Dried Tomato Heart Quesadillas
Nothing says “I love you” like cheesy, melty goodness inside of heart-shaped carbs. These quesadillas are made from sun-dried tomato tortillas and shredded Italian cheese. With a little marinara on the side for dipping, it’s almost like biting into a slice of pizza!
